In 1997, the Chicago Bulls faced the Utah Jazz in the best-of-seven NBA Finals series, looking to win their fifth championship of the decade. Utah was seen as a credible contender to halt the Bulls' consistent dominance of the NBA, possessing the league's Most Valuable Player in Karl Malone and one of the greatest point guards ever, John Stockton. Game 1 was close the whole way, and it became clear that the result would come down to which team could execute the best, under pressure, in the final moments.
